Heads-up, we're making some changes to the XML-RPC interface for UserLand's aggregator. It's definitely not frozen yet. The implementation is out to the Radio-Dev list, but that's not frozen yet either. Still diggin!

The UN Security Council unanimously backs Dubya's plan to squeeze Iraq to boost US oil interests. And our favorite cancer patient, Brian D Buck prepares for major surgery next week. We're all rooting for ya Brian!

Scripting News in RSS now supports skipHours, based on the info in this file. Next step, now that we have an example to work with, teach UserLand's aggregator to respect it.

Wow it's wet here. The creek is a torrent. Power just came back on (8AM Pacific), it was out all night, starting around 7:30PM. Nice to exist by candle and flash light. Apparently Jake lost power too, no word from him on the implementation of the Aggregator API. We had hoped to release it to Radio-Dev last night. Sorry about that. After that, we're going to do a demo app, something in JavaScript that runs in the browser that talks to the aggregator over XML-RPC. The idea is that you can create user interfaces in any language or environment that knows how to do XML-RPC. Anyway, lots of mail to read to catch up.

I've seen that bridge from the air, a couple of years ago when I went to Copenhagen. Sounds like an incredible adventure.
