Last time I visited CNN, I pitched them on podcasting, but they balked. I don't know how they came around to doing it, but I like what they're doing. It's straightforward, just the radio news broadcast, five minutes, updated frequently. Useful.

Went to the ballet today with the folks. It was very good. First time I had seen Swan Lake.

Given the assignment to discuss PR in the age of blogging, he invited a client, whose product actually has a reputation for being spyware, to announce a new version. And that was it. No one else on his panel, no discussion about the future of PR. He deflected every question asking for an explanation as if he were Ron Ziegler on the podium at the White House during Watergate. I'd like to know if he billed his client for the time he spent on stage. It was about as sleazy as it gets. I don't expect anything more from Rubel, I pointed to him reluctantly yesterday, but he had a scoop on a story of vital imortance to my readers, a leak that almost certainly came from Yahoo (which is Russ's employer). Big wheel keep on turning.

I'm always reluctant to point to sites that kill old links, it's never that hard to keep the old ones working. Hey at least Ed Cone is getting a raise. ";->"

It turns out we do need people to let us know they're coming in advance of Tuesday's meetup. Please send an email to Mike at Hacking Netflix, so he can add your name to the list, and when you get there on Tuesday the security people will know to let you in. Sorry for the late notice.

Odeo opened its doors. Here's what MCN looks like in thier viewer. They don't seem to be displaying item descriptions. I wonder why. In contrast, check out the Podcast Alley listing. Much more informative.
