What's up with the Tumblr API?

Thursday, May 14, 2009 by Dave Winer.

I had set aside today to explore Tumblr's APIPermalink to this paragraph

Apparently it was the wrong day because I keep getting HTML in response to my write calls that says: "We're making some changes to our infrastructure and certain pages may be unavailable for a few minutes." This has been going on for many hours! Not gooood. Permalink to this paragraph

I looked all over the place to see if there were any notes about this, but haven't found anything. So as a last resort I'm asking here if anyone knows anything about this. Permalink to this paragraph
