No escalation in Afghanistan

I assumed that because we elected Obama to end the war in Iraq that it went without saying that the war in Afghanistan would be ended as well. Permalink to this paragraph

The President is now considering an escalation of the war in Afghanistan.  Permalink to this paragraph

I can't imagine he will not face substantial opposition in the US and elsewhere, if the answer is escalation. I will be working to change this, and if it means working against the Democrats and the President, so be it. Permalink to this paragraph
